Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Wine Queue handles information. It is not legal advice to you.

Wine Queue (winequeue.com) is a flash-sale aggregator operated by AGRATERRA LLC, doing business as Wine Queue. We list merchant wine drops and link out. We do not sell or ship alcohol.

1. What we collect now

Contact form. The Site’s Contact Us page may include a contact form. When you submit it, we collect:

name
email address
message

Purpose: to respond to your inquiry.

Submissions are forwarded to the operator inbox we use for Contact form delivery. The Contact Us page does not display that email address on www. We do not use Contact form submissions to build a marketing or newsletter list, and we do not sell those emails.

Deal watches (when offered). When Wine Queue offers deal watches (including a gated or limited preview), and you choose to create a watch, we collect:

email address (verified with a magic-link we send you)
watch preferences you set (for example shops, price limits, and keywords)
records needed to send and log alert emails when a listing matches your watch
unsubscribe and verification events tied to that email

Purpose: to verify your email, store your watch preferences, and email you alerts when deals match those preferences. We do not sell watch emails or preferences. Alert and verification mail is sent through our email path for Wine Queue ops / alerts (not as a sold list). Every alert email includes a way to unsubscribe. You can also delete a watch or request deletion of your watch data (see Retention and California privacy rights).

Deal watches are not a general marketing newsletter. We only email you about matches to watches you created (plus the magic-link and transactional messages needed to run watches).

Server logs. When you load the Site, our host and server may record:

IP address
date and time
page or API path
browser user-agent
success or failure of the request

Search on Past Flash Sales is filtered in your browser. That search string is not submitted to our server by the current Site.

Site JavaScript does not currently set cookies or use local storage for tracking, except any session or token storage required to complete magic-link verification or keep you signed into managing your watches when that feature is offered. We do not currently run analytics tags or advertising pixels on the Site. We do not use an age-gate cookie.

2. What we may add later

We are not running a separate blast marketing list or unpaid waitlist through this Site beyond Contact form replies and deal-watch alerts described above.

If we add other email products (for example a general newsletter), we will say so on that form, update this policy the same day, describe how to unsubscribe, and name any email vendor that sends the mail.

3. Third parties your browser may contact

Merchants, if you click an outbound “Open at {shop}” link on Current (the listed drop). Past has no outbound shop link. After you click a Current link, the merchant’s privacy policy applies.
Image hosts, if a listing still hotlinks a remote bottle photo. Your browser requests those URLs directly. Many listings instead show a merchant bottle photo we stored, or a generic stock bottle we own, served from our host.
Our hosting provider, DNS, and CDN.
Email infrastructure that delivers Contact form submissions, magic-link verification messages, and deal-watch alert emails.

We do not control those parties’ privacy practices.

4. How we use information

We use the information above to run and debug the Site, keep the offer board working, protect the Site, respond to Contact form messages, verify watch emails, store watch preferences, and send deal-watch alerts you asked for.

We do not use the Site to sell wine to you.

5. How we share information

We do not sell email addresses, Contact form submissions, watch preferences, or alert lists.

We may share information with:

hosting and infrastructure vendors who process logs to run the Site
email or mail-delivery infrastructure used to forward Contact form submissions and to send magic-link and deal-watch alert messages
professional advisors when needed
authorities, if the law requires it
a buyer of the project, if Wine Queue is ever transferred, with notice if the law requires it

If you click out, the merchant sees you as a visitor to their site.

6. Cookies

Current Site JavaScript does not set cookies for advertising or analytics, and we do not use a 21+ confirmation cookie.

If deal watches are offered, we may use a short-lived session, cookie, or local token only to complete magic-link verification or let you manage your watches. If we add other cookies later (for example login or analytics), we will update this policy.

7. Retention and deletion

Server logs are kept for ordinary hosting and security periods, and longer if we must keep them for law or security.

Contact form submissions (name, email, message) are kept as long as needed to respond to your inquiry and for ordinary business records, then deleted or archived when no longer needed for that purpose, unless law or a dispute requires longer retention.

Deal-watch emails, preferences, and alert logs are kept while your watch is active and for a short period after you unsubscribe or delete the watch, so we can finish pending alerts and prove opt-out. After that we delete or de-identify the watch data unless law or a dispute requires longer retention. Unsubscribing stops future alert emails for that watch or address as described in the unsubscribe link.

8. California privacy rights

If you are a California resident, you may have the right to request access, deletion, or correction of personal information we hold about you, and to appeal a denial, subject to exceptions in California law.

Send a request to the Privacy questions / California requests address in Contact below, with “Privacy request” in the subject. We will need enough information to find you in our records (for example the email you used on a Contact form or for a deal watch).

We will not require you to create a password account just to make a request.

9. Children; under-21 visitors

The Site is for adults 21+. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 21. If you believe a minor sent us information (including via the Contact form or a deal watch), use the Privacy questions address in Contact below and we will delete what we can.

10. Security

We use ordinary hosting and transport security appropriate to a small site. No method of transmission is 100% secure. Do not send passwords or payment cards through the Contact form or to our operator mailboxes. Magic-link messages prove control of an inbox; treat those links as sensitive.

11. International visitors

The Site is aimed at a US audience. If you visit from elsewhere, your information may be processed in the United States.

12. Changes

We will change the “Last updated” date when this policy changes.
